We don't manufacture surfaces. We engineer performance. Every component of the Proslope system has been built from first principles - driven by material science, real-world rider feedback, and an uncompromising obsession with snow-like feel.
Research & development approach
The Proslope surface is the result of years of iterative research, real-world testing, and continuous refinement. Our development process combines laboratory material science with on-slope performance validation — working alongside professional athletes, qualified snowsports coaches, and everyday recreational skiers and snowboarders to stress-test every performance claim before it reaches the market.
Award Winning Technology
In 2015, Proslope was awarded the prestigious ISPO Gold Award for innovation and technological advancement – recognition from the global sports industry that our engineering approach was ahead of the category. We’ve continued to build on that foundation ever since.
Performance testing and validation
Every Proslope product goes through real-world testing before it reaches a facility. We work with professional athletes and snowsports coaches to stress-test performance characteristics - edge hold, glide consistency, impact absorption, and surface stability under high-speed and high-load conditions.
Proof of our success, is in the skiing.
We work with facility operators to validate operational characteristics including installation efficiency, maintenance burden, and long-term surface durability.
We don’t publish claims we can’t prove. The performance of a Proslope system is evidenced by the facilities that use it – and by the skiers and snowboarders who ride it.
Sustainability and efficiency
At Proslope, we provide the next generation of all year round ski and snowboard surfaces - but how great it is to ski on is only half the story. There's real sustainability and efficiency, baked in to every installation!
A Smarter Use of Resources
Proslope has been engineered with operational sustainability in mind. The Mist. atomisation system uses up to a third less water than conventional spray-based lubrication – reducing both direct cost and environmental impact for operators. The modular design means only worn or damaged sections ever need replacing, minimising material waste over the full lifecycle of the slope.
Making Snowsports Accessible
There is a broader sustainability argument for Proslope that goes beyond water consumption. By enabling world-class snowsports experiences away from the mountain, Proslope facilities reduce the demand for long-haul travel to resorts – and make skiing and snowboarding genuinely accessible to communities that would otherwise never have the opportunity to experience them. That’s a form of sustainability we’re proud of.
