At the heart of the system is Proslope – our flagship ski surface material. Featuring variable-height filament technology, Proslope creates a skiing and snowboarding experience as close to groomed snow as synthetic technology can achieve.
The variable-height bristles allow ski and snowboard edges to engage at two distinct levels – delivering precise grip when carving and effortless glide during straight-line descent. The result is a surface that performs across all ability levels: responsive enough for competition, forgiving enough for first-timers.
The surface design eliminates metal protrusions and surface voids, removing the two most common causes of impact injury on older-generation synthetic surfaces. Proslope is inherently safer by design.

Beneath every Proslope installation sits Absorb. – our geotextile shock membrane. Absorb. performs two critical functions: it cushions impact in the event of a fall, and it provides a stable, consistent sub-surface that ensures the Proslope mat performs evenly across the full slope area.

Performance Benefits
Proslope truly is ‘the best of all worlds’. Using tried and tested brush technology, it’s secret lies in it’s Variable Height Filament. This allows skis or snowboards to glide with less surface contact and therefore less friction build up, thus increasing speed. All this is done whilst allowing for better edge grip, when both upper and lower filaments are engaged.

Proslope has no protruding metal elements, or voids that could potentially catch a stray digit. Plus, thanks to our Absorb shock membrane, that cushions users against any accidental falls, injuries caused by impact are also reduced.

Each Proslope mat is a 1m² module, designed for ease of installation across large slope areas and irregular terrain. Mats can be cut to size or flexed to accommodate most terrain profiles.
This modular design, also means future replacement zones can be targeted, meaning you don’t need to replace huge areas to repair small high traffic points.

What is the expected durability?
While lifespan varies based on footfall, maintenance and whether mist has been installed, you can expect roughly 6–7 years. High-traffic wear areas may need to be replaced earlier.
