Facility overview
Tallington Lakes has had an outdoor dry ski slope since 1987.
The current owners, who took over in 2008, have continued to invest in the site, highlighting huge opportunity to boost ski and snowboard participation. We were approached to supply new Proslope surface to its 120-meter dry ski slope, designed to mimic the conditions of real snow, boost participation and increase safety.
Challenge before Proslope
From the outset, Tallington Lakes recognised the need for Proslope. Proslope’s unique construction, ease of installation, and exceptional performance were crucial for them to provide top-tier snow sports experiences throughout the year.

Since opening, Tallington Lakes have been shocked at the reaction to Proslope. The surface has been able to deliver some of the following results/factors:
Control
Improved edge control for all ability levels – from beginners to advanced racers.

Instance of a fall the addition of the underlay helps to absorb the impact. Their accident report rate has dropped considerably.

The multi-level bristle, not only assist with edge control but also help with speed.
